Angela Ochu-Baiye

“Hi! My name is Angela Omeiza Ochu-Baiye, a solicitor turned media consultant and audio producer whose work focuses on breaking communication barriers and bridging knowledge gaps by translating audio content into local languages. Through my flagship shows, Jela’s Clinic and The Conversation at WE FM 106.3 Abuja, I leveraged my roles as Talk Show Host and Producer to transform radio show content in Abuja and promote intellectual discourse. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Law from the University of Westminster and Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. I am listed by the Guardian Newspaper as one of 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria and was conferred with the Amazon Award by Women on Fire, both in 2018. In 2019, I was recognized by Donors for Africa as one of 100 women in the development space. I am a 2019 Mandela Washington Fellow. My love for the Black Panther movie led me to raise funds and take 200 underserved kids to watch it in a cinema, in 2018. Wakanda forever!!” – Angela Omeiza Ochu-Baiye
